the body remembers everything that you wish for it to forget
chained up poison straight from the pulp
leather wings drag on cracked rocks
and red cracked knuckles turn white.
but tomorrow is another day,
we return to the doll sanctuary
so if you like me please don't hurt me.. or do
all puffy teeth and slushy snow.
mixing memory with a sugary apparition
varicose veins and conjoined shedding
there's something peculiar, something misplaced
so we're sent to the butcher to carve out the pain
blood stained on film
visions of mavka caught on camera
snuff teddy vomiting rot
buzzing mosquitos gorged on the blood,
until they burst
iridescent spiral shaped spinal cords stiff, forever creaking
oil changed by a nervous trembling hand
the limbs don't budge, desire is gone
the premier desire is to stay limp, soft
an eternal rest deep into the sick moss
but the fog is overwhelming
fragile cadaverous body
emaciated heart locket of sedation
teetering on the trapeze of life and death
spinning in silks until the body finally breaks,
bleeding wood and sweet sap
an ingrown sting ray
a formaldehyde fentanyl nap
with a puppy in a wet jar
a final comatose kiss
the red wounds sprawl like open land,
with bound wrists and limbs
tangled ribbons and fascia
cystic tears and gauze over irises with bulging eyes and ribcage
braided strands of hay and dry lips
nearly caught on fire, burst into flames
like soft rotten fruit bursts between my toes
or against the bottom of my heels
curdled skin covered in blackberry stains and panda eyes
glass joints breaking, new bone fragments
lying down makes the spine shatter,
the pain only numbs when you're glued back together
a deconstructed, pinned body and hanged nails
lay flowers onto the side of my calcified carcass
are you washed in the blood of the orchid
or do you wish your heart would just stop?
